Joanne went far beyond my expectations - we looked at quite a few houses - but Joanne was confident that the right one was coming. She did an awesome job guiding me through the process as a first-time homebuyer, and we did end up finding a home that I loved. 2nd time around, selling that first home and moving to a new one. All I can say is that everything she suggested was right. Everything from the timing, prices, necessary extras - once again she made the entire process seamless. Good day, my wife and I are pleased with the outcome of our relationship with Joanne Lavoie. As I was outside of my dwelling I had noticed Joanne at another residence un-staging a home. I immediately acknowledged her smile and asked if she would take the time to see our home. Without hesitation she came over, my wife and I expressed our concerns about selling. She did not try to sell us an idea instead she listened and was extremely comforting and transparent. Although my wife and I had spoken with 2 different realtors before Joanne we did not feel a connection as we did with her. We decided to sign on and there we were we followed her advice and were in a fierce fear of what the outcome would be however, Joanne was available at all times to reassure us with reason. When Joanne was not available she would text us and reassure us of when she would get back to us she immediately found the time and made herself available to have a viewing at a home that we were interested in. with completion of purchase and sale Joanne has still continued to reach out and assist with dwelling situations. Joanne is amazing at what she does however it is her person who is so comforting mature and nourishing. I have referred her to friends and without hesitation, her integrity speaks volumes. Joanne and Stephen have spent most of their lives in Durham Region. Joanne grew up in Oshawa, while Stephen was raised in Uxbridge.Currently, they are raising their children in Whitby. Their love for Durham Region is why they call it home. From exploring the local conservation trails and parks to discovering unique small businesses in the area.
Joanne actively volunteers as a board member for RESOUND community choir, which has connected her with fellow music enthusiasts. Stephen is a member of the Whitby Curling Club and actively participates in the 100 Men of Durham philanthropic events. Additionally, both of them devote their time monthly to the Durham Outlook for the Needy, preparing and serving meals to those in need.
